What does Lucent Vela mean?

"Lucent" refers to light and clarity - bringing visibility to hidden opportunities in a market where the most remarkable properties rarely appear in public channels.

"Vela" comes from the Latin word for sail, representing our role as navigators who guide clients through complex acquisitions with steady direction.

The name reflects our dual purpose: illuminating what others cannot see, whilst charting the course toward what truly matters.

How do you represent properties differently?

We treat each property as a unique story rather than a listing number. Our approach emphasises narrative, context, and careful positioning.
 

Representation includes professional editorial content, architectural photography, and controlled introductions to pre-qualified buyers only. Your property is never commoditised or mass-distributed.

What is your minimum property value?

We work with properties high-value properties. How we determine this depends on the investment, finish, care, ROI and potential of the property. This approach allows us to maintain the level of service and attention that both property and owner deserve, as well as identifying rare gems within established markets.

Our focus spans residential estates, commercial investment opportunities, and development sites - each requiring distinct expertise and network access.

Can you represent a property already listed elsewhere?

We do take on collaborations - selectively. We evaluate each situation individually and have a community of trusted partner agents. Our collaborators understand that shared representation works only when all parties understand and respect the boundaries involved.

Our preference remains exclusive mandates, which allow us to control narrative, manage exposure, and deliver the focused representation that yields results. 

What does the submission process involve?

Begin with our property submission form in the Registry. We ask for essential details—location (city or region only), property type, distinguishing features, and your expectations.

We review all submissions personally, and arrange a private consultation to discuss the details. During this consultation we determine alignment with our portfolio, cover our standard representation strategy, timing, and terms. Everything shared remains confidential throughout.

How do I gain access to your portfolio?

Begin by submitting a request through our Registry. We review each application individually to ensure mutual alignment.

Once approved, you receive access to our complete portfolio, including properties that will never appear on public platforms. All viewings and communications remain strictly confidential.

Why aren't all properties shown publicly?

Many owners value discretion above visibility. Public exposure can compromise privacy, attract unwanted attention, or signal urgency that doesn't exist.

The properties featured on our website represent owners who have specifically chosen strategic visibility. The remainder of our portfolio remains accessible only to verified members of our network.

What happens after I request access?

We respond within two working days to confirm receipt. If your profile aligns with what we represent, we arrange a brief conversation to understand your specific requirements.

From there, introductions are made thoughtfully. You'll only hear from us when we have something genuinely suited to your criteria according to your preferences. Depending on our mandate we will schedule regular check-ins and updates tailored to the engagement type.

Do you work with international buyers?

Absolutely. A significant portion of our clients are based outside Spain and rely on us to navigate the acquisition process remotely.

We coordinate all necessary due diligence, legal representation, and logistical arrangements, ensuring the process remains straightforward regardless of your location.

All personal details, correspondence, and property information remain confidential unless you explicitly authorise disclosure.

We never share contact details, addresses, or transaction particulars with third parties. Each introduction requires mutual consent, and all parties sign confidentiality agreements before sensitive information is exchanged.

What is the typical acquisition timeline?

Timelines vary significantly based on property complexity, buyer location, and financing arrangements. A straightforward acquisition might conclude within 8-12 weeks; more complex transactions can extend to several months.

Our role is to ensure each phase proceeds without unnecessary delay whilst maintaining thoroughness. We coordinate legal, financial, and logistical elements so you can focus on the decision itself.

What information do I need to provide initially?

For buyers: your name, contact information, and a brief description of what you're seeking. Specifics on budget, location preferences, and intended use help us tailor introductions effectively.

For sellers: property location (region only, no street addresses), general description, approximate value, and whether the property is currently represented elsewhere.

We do require our clients both on the buy-side and sell-side to sign NDAs. These ensure the exclusively and confidentiality of our portfolio and enable us to share sensitive information on off-book properties and commercial investments.

How do I know if this approach suits me?
